Gundlach Bundschu, Santa Maria Bottle
1880s to 1910 Gundlach Bundschu, J. Gundlach Wine Co. brand named Santa Maria. This was a robust “California Burgundy.” During the late 19th and early 20th centuries, "Santa Maria" was a specific proprietary brand name used by Gundlach Bundschu for their high-tier red table blend. The seal states “Cabinet,” which refers to a special, longer-cellared, or special-grapes brand. This is a “split” bottle. Uncommon.
“Tipo” White Wine Bottle
This is a 1940s or 1950s typical raffia-wrapped “Tipo” White Wine bottle from Italian Swiss Colony Wine Co., Asti, California.
Early American Decanter
This is an early American blown three-mold decanter marked WINE. It dates from 1815-1830. It was probably made in New England, perhaps by the Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. It is rare, complete, and original, including the stopper. It measures 10 3/4” H.
